How to install and activate Paccar ESA
Step-by-step guide to installing and activating Paccar ESA (Electronic Service Analyst) through the AETools technician-assisted process, including how to submit a support ticket and what to have ready before the technician calls.
Need to install and activate Paccar ESA (Electronic Service Analyst) on your computer? Paccar ESA is activated through AETools' technician-assisted process. A support ticket is submitted online, after which a technician will contact you directly to transfer and activate the software remotely.
How to install and activate Paccar ESA
Step 1: Go to the AETools website. Open your web browser and navigate to www.aetools.us.
Step 2: Open the Support Ticketing System. On the AETools website, locate and click on the Support Ticketing System link in the navigation or homepage.
Step 3: Submit a support ticket. Create a new ticket requesting Paccar ESA installation and activation. Provide your contact information and any relevant details about your setup.
Step 4: Wait for a technician to call you. A qualified technician will contact you by phone. They will remotely transfer the Paccar ESA software to your computer and complete the activation process during the call.
Important - before the technician calls
To ensure a smooth and efficient activation, please make sure the following are ready:
- Your computer is powered on and running.
- You have an active internet connection.
- You are available to remain present during the remote session.
- You have your order or license information available if requested.
If your new password works on paccar.net in a browser but Davie or ESA still rejects it, the application is holding old cached credentials. Close all Davie / ESA windows completely, restart the application, and log in again with the new password.
Davie vs ESA - which one you need
Both Davie and ESA run on the same PACCAR account credentials, but they cover different work on Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks:
- Davie primarily covers PACCAR engine (PACA) functions — injector tests, DPF regeneration, and SCR.
- PACCAR ESA covers the broader electronic systems — instrument cluster, body modules, and other electronic system access.
