How do I upgrade my AE Tools laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 11?
AE Tools will upgrade your laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 11 at no charge if the laptop was purchased within the last 3 years. You'll need to provide the laptop's serial number and ship the laptop to AE Tools. If your laptop is older than 3 years, it's out of warranty and not eligible for a free upgrade.
If your laptop was purchased from AE Tools within the last 3 years, you qualify for a free upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11. AE Tools will perform the upgrade at no charge when you send the laptop in. Follow the steps below to start your upgrade request.
Before You Start: Check Eligibility
Your laptop is eligible for a free Windows 11 upgrade if it was purchased from AE Tools within the last 3 years. Laptops older than 3 years are out of warranty and are not eligible for a free upgrade.
To confirm eligibility, you will need your laptop's serial number. The serial number looks like this:

If Your Laptop Is Over 3 Years Old
If your laptop is more than 3 years old, it is out of warranty and not eligible for a free upgrade. In most cases, buying a new laptop is the recommended path because older hardware may not meet the minimum Windows 11 requirements even if the upgrade is performed.
