Texa Truck/Off-Highway Diagnostics - MultiHub Connection and Activation Issues
Fixing a Texa MultiHub that won't connect to Cummins or other ECMs, and what to check if activation fails.
Texa MultiHub Won't Connect to the ECM
If the Texa MultiHub powers on but prompts for credentials or fails to auto-configure when connecting to a Cummins or other ECM, try adding the RP1210 connection manually rather than relying on auto-configure. If the RP1210 connection options appear grayed out, restart the laptop with the MultiHub box still plugged in, then retry. If it still won't connect after this, escalate to Texa USA support directly rather than continuing to troubleshoot on the software side.
Texa Activation Fails with a HASP Key Mismatch
If a Texa unit won't activate and no license appears to exist on it, confirm the correct serial number and HASP key with Texa USA support - a mismatched dongle or wrong serial can block activation even when a valid license exists elsewhere on the account. This requires Texa USA support directly, as licensing and HASP key assignment are on Texa's side.
