How to set up your WiTech account and create your Stellantis account

Step-by-step guide to setting up your WiTech account through OKTA, creating your password, setting up 2FA, and creating your Stellantis (formerly Tech Authority) account.

Once your order has been confirmed or you have received your MDP+/MDP/WSP from AETools, follow these steps to create your WiTech account and your Stellantis (formerly Tech Authority) account.

How to set up your WiTech account through AETools

Step 1: Go to your email. You should receive an email from OKTA to create your account. If you do not see the email, check your spam or trash folders. If it is not in either location, contact AETools at (913) 856-6678 option 3 or email marketing@aetools.us.

Step 2: Create your password. Click the link in the OKTA email and you will be prompted to create a password. Make sure you meet the password requirements.

Step 3: Set up security questions and 2FA. Once you have created your password, select and answer the security question prompts. After that, you will be offered an optional 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) feature. Options include Google Authenticator (app needed), OKTA, Yubi Key, or WinAuth (app needed). 2FA is optional — you can skip it and add it later.

Step 4: After completing registration, you will see a box that says "WiTech Prod Ad." Select it to begin using the WiTech software. Bookmark the dashboard page or save this URL for future use: fcawitech.okta.com.

Important: Make sure you spell the URL correctly. There are scam sites that look similar but are spelled differently.

Note: J2534 devices do not work through the cloud app. Head to the Downloads section to download the WiTech J2534 application instead.

How to create your Stellantis account (formerly Tech Authority)

To use the service library, access wiring diagrams, retrieve pin codes for key programming/cutting (NASTF required), and use your Tech Authority subscription, you will need a Stellantis account. Here's how to create one.

Step 1: Go to Stellantisiop.com.

Step 2: On the landing page, click "Register" on the left-hand side.

Step 3: Complete the account registration form.

Step 4: After your account is created, go to your email to verify your account, and you're done.

Important: Your WiTech and TechAuth credentials need to have matching email addresses. Make sure you use the same email for both accounts.
