How To Set Up Your Chrysler & Stellantis Account

This article will guide you through creating your WiTech account and Stellantis (formerly Tech Authority) under AE Tools, assuming you are a new user and have registered with us.

If you are a new user or have recently purchased a Mopar Diagnostic Pod (MDP, WSP, MDP+) from AE Tools, this guide will teach you how to register your account and get set up to start using your tool and subscriptions.

Registering With AE Tools

If you would like to register for WiTech in order to use our software licenses and hardware, you can do so by:

  1. Purchasing our Mopar Diagnostic Pod Plus Package (via online webstore).

    • When purchasing through our webstore, you will need to complete the registration form below to finalize your purchase.
    • Once your order has been placed and confirmed, our team will begin creating your account. You should receive an email with instructions on how to set up your account.

  2. Creating a Support Ticket

    • If you would like to start your account but don't know where to begin or need help purchasing your order, you can visit support.aetools.us to register your account or create an account in our support system.
      • Here is how to register for our support system if you are new to it. Click here.
    • Once you have submitted your ticket, our solutions team will reach out to help you make your purchase and create your account with you.

Note: If you purchase a subscription without creating an account, our team will create a support ticket so that we can help you create your account, add software, and activate your subscription.

Note for International Users: Accounts outside of the NAFTA regions will need to create a support ticket before purchasing subscriptions.

Setting Up Your WiTech Account Through AE Tools

Once your order has been confirmed or have received your MDP+/MDP/WSP follow these steps to create your WiTech account:

  1. Go to your email

    • You should receive an email from OKTA to create your account.
      • If you do not see the email check your spam or trash folders to verify. If it is not located on either inbox locations, contact our team at (913) 856-6678 option 3 or email us at marketing@aetools.us.

  2. Create Your Password

    • After clicking the link in the OKTA email, you will be prompted to create a password. Ensure you have met the password requirements.

  3. Security Questions & 2FA Security Options

    • Once you have created your password, you will need to select and answer the security question prompts to ensure your account is safe from potential hackers or fraudsters.
    • After you have finished selecting your questions and answering them, you will be offered an optional security feature to access your account with a 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) code. You will have options to select from, such as:
      • Google Authenticator (app needed)
      • OKTA
      • Yubi Key
      • WinAuth (app needed)
      Select your options and follow the procedures to complete your 2FA access. This is OPTIONAL. If you do not want to have a 2FA access code, you can skip it and add it later.

All Done, What's Next?

Finally, after completing your account registration, you will see a box that says. "WiTech Prod Ad", select it to begin using the WiTech Software. Be sure to bookmark the dashboard page or save this URL for future use with WiTech: fcawitech.okta.com. (Image below for reference)

  • Note: Ensure you have spelled the URL correctly. There are scam sites that look similar, but are spelled differently.
  • Note 2: J2534 devices do not work through the cloud app. Head to the Downloads section of this page to download the WiTech J2534 application.

Creating Your Stellantis Account (formerly Tech Authority)

To use the service library, access wiring diagrams, retrieve pin codes for key programming/cutting (NASTF required), and use your Tech Authority subscription, you will need to create a Stellantis account. Here's how you do it:

  1. Go to Stellantisiop.com
    Stellantis Independent Operator Portal Page
  2. On the landing page, on the left-hand side, click on the "Register"
  3. Complete the account registration form.
  4. After your account is created, head to your email to verify your account, and you're done!

WiTech For J2534 Devices

2FA Authenticator Software (WinAuth)

Download this file if you would like to have your authenicator saved on your desktop. This authenicator works with most authenicator codes such as Google, OKTA, and many others. 

Note: Make sure to save your string code(s)(string codes are up to 25-digits long and are provided by simply clicking "Can't Scan") in a safe place or document in case you need to transfer the authenication codes to another platform.
