This key is not required to operate the vehicle, only gain entrance in the event of a low vehicle battery charge or failure of the I-Key.
How to submit a Nissan immobilizer reset request
Step 3: Click on "2.) Immobilizer Reset Request" from the product list.
Step 4: Fill out the Security Professional Transaction Entry Form with the following information — VIN, Security Professional Name, Customer Name, Name on the vehicle registration, License Plate number, State of License Plate, VSC (LSID), Passcode, Product (Immobilizer Reset Request), and Date and Time.
