How does Porsche PCSS software work?

Porsche PCSS software is unlike any other software/ subscription we offer.  Here is why:

We currently offer four (4) Porsche PCSS TSI subscriptions:

  • PorscheSubscription-1Day : $86.00/ 24 Hours**
  • PorscheSubscription-1Week : $381.00/ 7 Days
  • PorscheSubscription-1Month : $1,272.00/ 30 Days
  • PorscheSubscription-1YR : $11,865.00/ 365 Days

**Porsche 1 Day (24 Hour) subscription should only be sold to experienced users who are familiar with the Porsche PCSS software and how it works.  DO NOT SELL TO NEW USERS.

We recommend selling the Porsche 1 Week (7 Days) subscription to new users and here's why:

  • Porsche PCSS software exists on several virtual machines, run by and monitored by Porsche AG.  The US VMs are located at Porsche North American Headquarters in Atlanta, GA
  • We, AE TOOLS, own the security certificate.  So the customer CANNOT run/ use the software WITHOUT US involved.
  • Obtaining a security certificate from Porsche is a MINIMUM 6 MONTH process.  AE Tools CANNOT assist users in obtaining a security certificate for Porsche.
  • If the virtual machines are all in use, the user has to wait in a queue until a virtual machine becomes available.  This could take anywhere from 15 minutes, up to 48 hours.
  • Because of this, Porsche PCSS software can be SLOW.  The user has to be patient.  Inactivity will result in the users virtual machine access to be forfeited and the user will have to go back into the queue to wait for another available virtual machine.

Porsche PCSS is not an easy software to use, or to sell.  Using this outline should make you more conversational with the customer and hopefully help you answer any questions the customer may have.
