Detroit Diesel Login - How AE Solutions Manages Your Diagnostic Link 8 License
Detroit Diesel licenses purchased from AE Solutions are managed under our Master Account. The login is not shared with users - here's how the licensing model works for fleet customers.
How Detroit Diesel login and licensing works through AE Solutions
The Detroit Diesel license that you purchase from AE Solutions is managed by us in our Master Account for customers with their own fleet. The login is not shared with users.
This means you do not receive a separate Detroit Diesel / DiagnosticLink 8 login when you purchase through AE Solutions - your license is provisioned under the AE Solutions Master Account so we can manage activation, renewals, and seat allocation on your behalf. This setup is designed for fleet customers running Detroit Diesel programming and diagnostics across multiple technicians or vehicles.
Software updates are not applied automatically
License management and software updates are two different things. AE Solutions manages your Detroit Diesel license — activation, renewals, and seat allocation. Manufacturer software updates are not pushed to your machines on your behalf.
When Detroit Diesel releases a new version, submit a support ticket and a technician will schedule the update, usually as a remote session. Detroit and Freightliner release updates frequently, so shops running them should expect to raise a ticket a few times a year rather than waiting for the software to update itself.
If you run several machines, list them all in one ticket so they can be updated in the same session.
