How to Renew Your Autel MaxiSys Subscription (Online or by Phone)

Renewing your Autel MaxiSys software subscription keeps your tablet's vehicle coverage, functions, and patches current - it's a one-year subscription tied to your tablet's serial number. There are two ways to renew through AETools: online through the AETools store, or by phone with a support ticket. Both require the same two pieces of information, so have them ready before you start.

What you'll need before you start

- The serial number of your Autel tablet (it usually starts with "V"). You'll find it on the sticker on the back of the tablet, or on the tablet under Settings → About → Serial.

- The model of your Autel tablet (for example Elite, MX808, MK808, MS906, MS908, MS906BT, MS906 PRO, MS919, MS Ultra+, MS909 CV, MX949 CV, and similar).

Important: the subscription is applied to the serial number you provide and cannot be changed or refunded once submitted, so double-check the serial and model before you complete the renewal. Choosing the wrong model means the subscription won't work on your tablet.

Method A - Renew online through the AETools store

1. Go to the Autel MaxiSys Software Updates page on the AETools website (search "AUTEL MAXISYS Software Updates" in the AETools store, or use a "Renew My Subscription" link if one is provided).

2. Sign in to your AETools account. If you don't have one, create it before continuing.

3. From the list of Autel tablets, select the exact model that matches your device.

4. Enter the required information carefully: your Autel serial number, contact email, and contact phone number. Double-check the phone number - AETools uses it to reach you if there's any issue with the renewal.

5. Confirm the serial number is correct (it can't be changed or refunded after submission).

Renewing by phone is a two-step process - the sales order and a support ticket both have to be submitted:

1. Call AETools at (913) 856-6678 and a representative will write up the sales order for your renewal.

2. Submit a support ticket so the renewal can be processed: go to www.aetools.us, open the Help Desk / Tickets link (helpdesk.aetools.us), log in, and submit your renewal ticket.

Phone renewals take approximately 45 minutes to complete once both steps are done.

Processing time

An online renewal is applied to your tablet within 24 hours of purchase, and all software updates are added after the subscription is processed. If you're in a hurry, call AETools at (913) 856-6678 to expedite - typically within about an hour.

Troubleshooting: Autel renewal questions

"I just renewed but the tablet still says expired." Allow time for activation, then restart the tablet. The local cache may not have refreshed — sign out and back into your Autel account if needed. If it's still expired after the processing window, call AETools to confirm the activation pushed.

"I have multiple Autel tablets - do I need separate subscriptions?" Yes. Each tablet has its own serial number and its own subscription; they don't share. If you renew several at once, verify each tablet individually afterward rather than assuming they all renewed.
